The best way to test Paxway is to order an evaluation CD. Everything is preset and after installation it is easy to run the system. If you send a SSIM file together with your request, the CD will also be prepared with some data so you don't have to start from scratch. If you also provide some information about your timetable layout, you will almost recognize the output from this test.
SSIM The only input needed is "schedule data set" files according to SSIM chapter 7
consisting of the traffic data relevant for your timetable.
MCT Data controlling the Minimum Connection Times at the given transfer station.
ODP OD parameters like maximum transfers, transits, connection time, fly distance etc.
.tpl Typography template defining the sections of Origin, Destination and Connections.
.cty IATA station code with city name, airport, reference and order of appearance.
Connect From SSIM files, via tables MCT and ODP, generates connections per given OD.
Layout From OD data makes a tagged presentation for Word and/or Quark (Printer's DTP).
Builder Subset called SSIM editor for making small SSIM files and updating large ones (optional).
Tooling "Make SSIM Extract including time conversion" and "Generate Horizontal List" (optional).
